If you already have any Point of Sale (POS) system, fax, or email client at your restaurant, you don’t need any extra hardware. We can also send orders by automated phone call or text message. If you don’t have any of these available, we can help you install a fax machine to begin receiving orders.
All you have to do is email us at help@getfoodio.com with any changes, and we’ll take care of the rest. We do support multiple menus for different dayparts- just give us all of your menus and your apps will automatically switch between them at the correct times.
We also offer access to our dashboard to manage your menu and other details on your own, with no need to contact us (unless you want to!).
In most cases, your restaurant will be online in one week. (In times of heavy volume, cases of missing information, or technical issues it might take slightly longer.) But, you always know we’ll be working to get you set up; we don’t make money until we’re driving more revenue for you!
Foodio can send orders in a few different ways. If you have a Point of Sale system, we can send orders directly there, minimizing disruption to your restaurant’s workflow. Otherwise, we can send your restaurant’s orders by fax, email, and text notification. We work hard to ensure that our software can work with every restaurant, so if you’d like to receive orders another way you can let us know and we will accomodate you.
Our credit card processing is fully secure and compliant with PCI DSS standards. Braintree, our partner gateway, is well-established and reputable: it’s trusted by top companies including OpenTable, LivingSocial, and Uber. We encrypt, store and process credit card information only through Braintree’s secure servers, keeping your customers’ credit card information safe and sound.
Once your online ordering platform is built, getting them into the hands of your customers is the most important thing! We work closely with our clients to develop marketing campaigns that work for them. We will provide you with free window decals to advertise your website, we can help design flyers, check presenter inserts, table tents, and more in order to get the message out to your customers. We’ll promote your new ordering platform through our social media channels, and can help you start a campaign through your own.
